Standard orders are orders sent by standard post that do not contain any ‘delivery items’.
Delivery items are any item that cannot be delivered by standard Australia post services, due to size or weight, is classified as a delivery item. Delivery items include most furniture, some rugs & larger homewares pieces.

The standard rate for delivery items varies from $50 - $150 depending on the item and quantity of items in your order. Delivery fees are calculated at checkout. Free shipping promotions do not apply to delivery items.

Adairs uses a third party for delivery of any larger items outside Australia Post guidelines. You will be contacted by their customer care team when your order arrives at their location in your state to arrange a suitable date and time.
Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, between 9am and 6pm (Public holidays excepted).
Please note, standard delivery includes delivery to the ground floor door of your building. Due to OH&S policies, the delivery driver is unable to enter your home and the product is not able to be taken upstairs without assistance. If you need help getting the item upstairs or into your home etc, you will need to arrange this with our customer service team, and additional fees will apply.
Adairs uses Australia Post eParcel service for all standard post deliveries within Australia.
Your parcel will be sent with an Australia Post tracking number, which will be emailed to you when your order has left our warehouse.
All orders sent within Australia require a signature on delivery. If there is no one available to receive the parcel, Australia Post will leave a card with pick up information. The parcel can then be picked up at the local post office during their normal opening hours.
Please note, during sale periods and Linen Lover events, online orders may take slightly longer to deliver, due to high order volumes. We will always endeavour to ship your items as soon as possible.
