The standard rate for oversized delivery items varies from $20 - $80 depending on the item and quantity of items in your order. Delivery fees are calculated at checkout. Free shipping promotions do not apply to oversized delivery items which include most furniture, some rugs and larger homewares pieces.
Adairs uses third parties for delivery of any larger items outside Australia Post guidelines. You will be contacted by our delivery partners customer care team when your order arrives at their location in your state to arrange a suitable date and time. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, between 9am and 6pm (Public holidays excepted).
Please note: Standard delivery includes delivery to the ground floor door of your building. Due to OH&S policies, the delivery driver is unable to enter your home and the product is not able to be taken upstairs without assistance. If you need help getting the item up stairs or into your home etc. you will need to discuss this with our customer service team and additional fees will apply.
Once you place your order for an Oversized Item on our website, you'll receive an Order Confirmation email from us confirming your order details, usually within an hour. Once your order has been dispatched, our delivery partner will be in contact to arrange delivery of your order.

Note, if your order contains both oversized items and standard delivery items, your standard delivery items will be dispatched separately via Australia Post.
During major sales and events, online orders may take slightly longer to dispatch due to high order volumes. We will always endeavour to ship your items as soon as possible.
Once your custom order has been placed in-store or online, please allow 12-14 weeks from date of order to delivery. Please note, if you live in a more rural area, delivery may take longer.
If an order has a Custom Furniture & another furniture/oversized item, the other item will not be shipped out until the Custom Furniture is ready for shipping. This means you will have to wait 12-14 weeks to receive your custom furniture plus normal furniture or oversized items all at once.
