All orders are dispatched from our local distribution centers via our delivery partners. You will receive a shipping email with your tracking number once your order has been processed. You can use this number to track your order through Australia Post here.

Standard Delivery are items that can be sent by Australia Post’s Standard e-Parcel shipping method and do not contain any oversized items.  

Once you place your order for a Standard Delivery item on our website, you’ll receive an order confirmation email from us confirming your details, usually within an hour.

We use third parties for delivery of all oversized items. Oversized Delivery refers to items that cannot be delivered by Australia Post’s Standard services due to weight and size.

Oversized items include furniture, rugs and larger homeware pieces. To check if the product you are viewing is classified as oversized, please refer to the ‘Product Information’ section of the product listing. Then, identify the ‘Delivery Type’ of this product.

Once you place your order for an Oversized Item on our website, you'll receive an Order Confirmation email from us confirming your order details, usually within an hour.

Once your order has been dispatched, our delivery partner will send you a text message when your item/s arrive into their main depot. Note, if your order contains both oversized items and standard delivery items, your standard delivery items will be dispatched separately via Australia Post.

  3. You’ll receive an email from the store to complete your purchase. 

  4. Orders placed and paid for before 1pm will be booked for Toll collection that same day. Orders placed and paid for after 1pm will be collected from the store by Toll the following day.

Enjoy the convenience of our store-to-store shipping service. When in store, if we do not stock the product you choose to buy, we can source it for you from another store*. The standard rate for store-to-store shipping is $9.99^ in any transaction.  Should you require product from multiple stores within the same transaction, the shipping rate is capped at $9.99.

How it works: 

  1. Find the product you love in store. 
  2. If out of stock, and available at another store, we will organise a transfer at a rate of $9.99.
  3. When the product arrives in store, we will contact you to arrange collection.
  4. Generally shipping will take up to 7 days.

*Store-to-store shipping does not apply to oversized or fragile product which includes most furniture, artwork, some rugs and homewares pieces. Store-to-store shipping is restricted to metro stores and to stores within the same state. ^This fee applies to all customers including Linen Lovers. The fee is paid in advance and is non-refundable should you change your mind after the product has been shipped.

If your delivery is a standard size, we advise you to create an account via Australia Post and redirect your parcel to a new address.  

If your order is oversized, please contact our friendly Customer Service team on 1300 783 005 who will be happy to assist you!  

Yes, you need to be home to accept any Standard Post items delivered by Australia Post. Your parcel cannot be left unattended. Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver orders to PO Boxes.

You will receive a tracking link for your oversized item from Steadfast Logistics with an ETA. If we attempt delivery of your order on the ETA you will need to be home to accept delivery.

If you're not available when the delivery is attempted, we can request the driver to leave your order in a secure location at the delivery address.

Adairs, and contractors associated with the delivery, do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage which results from this Authority to Leave delivery method.

Please note that we will do our best to fulfil your request, however there may be some instances where the carrier will not be able to do this and the item/s will either be left in a safe place on your property or they will be taken back to the carriers depot and an attempt for delivery will be made on another day.

Most furniture, rugs and larger homewares items are classified as oversized. If the item is oversized, it will be specified on the product page. Delivery fee will be calculated at checkout based on each oversized item ordered. This charge helps us maintain the quality of service you expect from us while also covering the increased costs incurred by handling these larger items.

Free shipping promotions do not apply to oversized delivery items.

If your order is not in progress at the warehouse or has not been dispatched, we can organise a refund for you. Our friendly Customer Service team can assist you with your request. Click here to Contact Us 

Please allow 3 - 5 business days for the funds to appear in your nominated account.  

However, if the order has been dispatched from our facility we are unable to refund you until the order has been delivered. To organise the return of an online order, please click here for more information on how to make a return.  

All customer collections can be made from our delivery partner.

Adairs can offer room of choice delivery, but it's important to know that this service is limited and specific conditions must be met. Please note that this is not available everywhere in Australia and a clear path and location of placement is also required.

It's essential for you to be present at the property during the delivery to grant the driver access to your home. Additionally, please inform us of any accessibility issues at the delivery location.
