Our product

“Our in-house designers and product team don’t
just design beautiful products - they design them to last.”

Our packaging:

We are committed to transitioning away from the use of plastics in our business.

From 2023, plastic shopping bags will no longer be available in any of our stores. Instead, we will be encouraging our customers to BYO bag or purchase one of our Reusable Bags in store. All profits from our Reusable Bag range goes to our partner, Orange Sky - supporting the incredible work they do to help people experiencing hardship and homelessness.

We are actively working with our supply chain partners to reduce the amount of packaging used, and where packaging is needed transitioning to more environmentally friendly materials.

Our product range:

We care about the smallest design details and quality materials.

First and foremost, our products are designed to last - we make our products from high-quality materials to make sure they live a long and rewarding life with good prospects for reuse.

Where we can, we design our products to incorporate materials capable of being recycled at end-of-life.

We train our team to assist customers with making sustainable product choices.

“Extending the life of our products is one of the most important ways to reduce waste.”

Our products are designed and manufactured in accordance with several sustainable standards across various product categories.

These include the following:

100% of our bedlinen is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified.

The STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® label certifies that every attached component of the article (being every thread, button and other accessory) has been tested for harmful substances and that the article therefore is harmless to human health.

Look out for the OEKO-TEX labels on product in our Bedlinen range.

Responsible Down Standard (RDS)
100% of our down-filled products, quilts, and cushion inserts are RDS certified.

This standard aims to make sure, to the highest possible extent, that down and feathers do not come from animals in a supply chain that have been subjected to any unnecessary harm. It takes a holistic approach to the animal welfare of the birds, from hatching to slaughter. Any removal of down and feathers from live birds is prohibited, as is force-feeding.

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified timber and sustainable timber
100% of all Mark Tuckey furniture sold by us is made from FSC certified and/or sustainable timber.

The FSC is a non-profit organisation that sets certain high standards to make sure that forestry is practiced in an environmentally responsible and socially beneficial manner. FSC certification designates that wood has been harvested from forests that are responsibly managed, socially beneficial, environmentally conscious and economically viable.
