Fabrics with a raised surface such as velvet and chenille often look like they have surface marks or shade variations simply because the pile is crushed. This is not a fault.
Use a soft mitten made from fabric or a very soft brush and stroke in the direction of the pile to remove any marks or surface changes.
Vacuum regularly with soft brush attachment.
Blot spills immediately with white absorbant cloth.
Do not wash.
Do not rub or spot clean.
Use specialist furniture cleaning companies only.
Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
