Apart from choosing your favourite colour, another easy place to start your room’s colour palette is your wall art. Drawing colour inspiration from this focal point will guide you to use these colours in various accessories including the cushions, vases, throws and more. This will create a cohesive look in the room.
Styling your couch is the perfect opportunity to play with different shapes and sizes to add some interest. Start with large size cushions on the outside, then work in with smaller cushions. Make sure you’re sticking with your chosen colour palette to ensure you don’t stray too far.
A popular question we get asked is ‘How should I style my sideboard?’ Our rule of thumb: imagine creating a three-dimensional triangle, by starting with the artwork as your focal point, and then arranging décor & accessories around it. The beauty of this is that it is versatile and you can change it up as often as you like.
