Caring for Your Towels
All Mercer + Reid and Home Republic towels are machine washable at 40C and we recommend line drying in the shade, with a short, warm tumble drying cycle at the end to keep them soft and fluffy.
Fabric conditioners should be avoided, as they decrease the towel's ability to absorb water.
Make sure your towels do not come into contact with cleaning products containing bleach. Facial cleansers and skin treatments contain benzoyl peroxide which can also damage towels.
If you catch the towel and pull the pile, snip off the pulled loop with a pair of scissors. Our towels are woven, not knitted, so they won't fray.
